HPB Vote adds ‘My Bonus’ Page HPB community members can now connect a MetaMask Wallet to this interface and, on the My Bonus page, view any bonus in-wallet rewards received after voting for a node offering rewards. On the Vote page, community members can select and Vote for a node (purple button), whilst node operators can also preload any bonus rewards (red button) that they wish to offer their voters. Reminder to nodes to use separate mining and holding accounts The Foundation recommends that node operators drain the wallet used for collecting block rewards periodically, for maximum peace of mind, and always use a separate coin holding account for pledged coins. [ Find out more ]

HPB proposed a privacy-preserving Layer 2 solution! HPB has published a blue paper, plus code, detailing how a Layer 2 solution can support greater privacy whilst maintaining high throughput on High Performance Blockchain. Privacy-preserving zero-knowledge proofs require significant extra computational power, so this solution shifts work to Layer 2. Minting Exploit on HPB MainNet At 11:14:30 (GMT+8) on 20 Oct there was a token minting exploit on HPB MainNet. HPB Foundation has notified exchanges to suspend trading and urges the hacker to get in touch for a reward for helping identify and resolve the vulnerability. HPB holders are meanwhile urged to refuse any private offers of HPB tokens, to refrain from trading, to check your wallet holdings and to report any anomalies to hpb@hpb.io An update on investigations will be given within the next 24 hours.
